KODAH

Kodah comes from our friends at Boston Klee Kai. From the day we picked him up at the airport he was Mr. Personality. Very opinionated, and quite vocal, Kodah taught us a lot about patience and different training methodologies, as well as learning how to read canine body language.

We truly owe the start of Thurisia to this little man. While searching for training help and advice, we came across Lisa Monge of Allerian Kennels. Lisa was incredibly generous with her time and gave us a lot of help in teaching Kodah that the world was a great place. In working to give him more confidence, we were talked into giving conformation a shot.

At his very first conformation show, Kodah picked up a Best in Specialty Show with some really nice competition. From there it was nonstop. His flashy side gait and joy for being in the ring earned us our first conformation titles. Kodah is a standard size male measuring 15.5 inches at the withers.

From there we started to get into rally obedience training, as well as working towards our AKC Canine Good Citizen. Kodah's willingness to please and ability to learn quickly helped us achieve these goals.

Like Maya, Kodah was neutered since we did not have any plans to show or breed at the time that he joined our family. We are grateful for our sweet, snuggly, and opinionated Special K.
