ABOUT LYRA

Lyra comes from AliAK Kennels and we could not be more pleased with her. From the moment she came home she has shown us what an amazing personality she has. Lyra is always eager to meet new people, plays well with other dogs, loves exploring new places, and most importantly, lives every day to its fullest.

Lyra has proven that she was made for the conformation and performance worlds. Her tail never fails to be up and wagging happily in the show ring and she exudes confidence and joy. She finished her UKC Champion title her first weekend showing in the licensed classes, and finished her UKC Grand Champion title just two show weekends after that at 11 months old. In July 2016, she was awarded a Best In Show at just over 13 months old. Lyra is a standard size Klee Kai measuring 16.75 inches at the withers.

While enjoying her time in the conformation rings, Lyra has also excelled at rally obedience, agility, nose work, and basic obedience and trick training. She has shown that she is eager to please, and has titled in all of these venues. In addition to these accomplishments, she is also the first Klee Kai to earn the UKC Socialized Pet Obedience Test with the Outstanding Neighbor designation, as well as her AKC Canine Good Citizen.

Judges have consistently praised her excellent structure and temperament, mentioning multiple times that they couldn't take their eyes off of her in the show ring.
